Applications for Admission to YSCS are due by mail, fax or in person delivery by 2:00pm on Tuesday, March 7th, 2017. Because we are not selective, if there are more applicants than spaces available, students will be entered into a lottery and chosen at random. Entry into our lottery is contingent upon the application being submitted by Tuesday, March 7th. Young Scholars’ lottery will be held on March 13, 2017 at 6PM (please note that the lottery does not require family attendance). Students not selected in the lottery will be placed on our waitlist. Waitlists do not carry over year to year.

If you would like more information about Young Scholars, we recommend that families attend an information session to learn more about Young Scholars Charter School. Please RSVP via phone to 215-232-9727. Information sessions will be held on the following dates:

  • Tuesday, November 10 11:00 AM – 11: 30 AM
  • Wednesday, December 14 3:30 PM – 4:00 PM
  • Wednesday, January 25 2017 5:30 PM – 6:00 PM
